These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) govern your use of the Doti Chores mobile application and the chorehops.com website (the “Service”), provided by [Operator legal name] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Doti Chores helps families organize chores and rewards. An adult creates a family account and manages child profiles, chores, rewards, and coin balances. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for supervising children’s use of the Service.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- Child profiles are created and managed by the responsible adult account holder.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial family use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the Service or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways.
4. Doti Premium subscriptions
- Plans. Doti Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription on a monthly or annual basis. It is a family subscription: one subscription covers all members of your family.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
- Prices. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region and over time. We will give notice of price changes as required by the app stores.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google; refund requests are subject to their policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, upload harmful or offensive content, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Content you create (such as chore and reward names) remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Hungary / your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.
